All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Mangalagiri is a premier public medical institution located in the Mangalagiri-Tadepalli Municipal Corporation area of Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. Established in 2018 under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), it is one of the 'Phase-IV' AIIMS institutes aimed at correcting regional imbalances in quality tertiary healthcare and medical education. The institute commenced its academic session in 2018 with 50 MBBS students at a temporary campus and began operations at its permanent campus in March 2019. As of the 2020–21 academic year, the MBBS intake increased to 125 students. The campus spans 183 acres and includes outpatient and inpatient services, with a 960-bed hospital offering a range of specialties. AIIMS Mangalagiri is committed to providing affordable tertiary healthcare and training future healthcare professionals.
